Upcoming PAC Events and Opportunities

Parent Welcome and WalkaboutThursday, October 1, 6:30 pm in the Foyer

Parents are invited to stop by the Lord Byng PAC Welcome Table in the Foyer (off the basketball courts) before attending the Walkabout on Thursday October 1 at 6:30 pm. Come and enjoy refreshments, sign up for committees and meet other Lord Byng parents. The Welcome Table will be hosted all evening so that parents can drop in for a visit or bite to eat if they have a break in their Walkabout schedule. We look forward to seeing you there!

PAC Committees

Please consider signing up to coordinate or participate in one of this year’s PAC committees. To sign up, e-mail us at lordbyngschoolpac@gmail.com

  • PAC Parent Welcome on Thursday, October 1 – need volunteers to bring food and drink, set up and be present at the PAC table – email lordbyngschoolpac@gmail.com if you can help!

  • Fundraising Committee – identify fundraising initiatives and goals

  • Chinese Community Liaison – assist with translating agendas and minutes, interpret at meetings

  • Social Committee – organize one or two social events through the year

  • Parent Education/Speakers’ Bureau Social Media –Facebook, Twitter and our new PAC website

  • Volunteer Coordination

  • Refreshment Committee – provide drinks and light snacks for PAC meetings including set up and clean up after each meeting

  • Staff Appreciation Lunch – May 2016

All PAC Meetings will take place the last Wednesday of the month at 7:00 pm in the Library. Agendas and Minutes will be posted on the PAC website at www.lordbyngpac.com
